Service Description

This class offers gentle exercises. We will start with a warm-up to: • relax the mind • relax the body • improve posture • increase joint mobility • lengthen the muscles • improve coordination • improve balance • strengthen the muscles • increase range of movement • increase awareness of the body • increase lymphatic drainage • stimulate acupoints • feel invigorated. We will then learn, practice, correct and explore movements from the Tai Chi 24-Step Simplified ‘form’ or routine. Our practice helps us to be mentally present and can be described as meditation and medication in motion. This class is aimed at those who have practised the 24-Step Simplified ‘form’ or routine all of the way through.
