Service Description
*This class is aimed at beginners; however, non-beginners are very welcome to attend the class.* This class offers gentle exercises to: • relax the mind • relax the body • improve posture • increase joint mobility • lengthen the muscles • improve coordination • improve balance • strengthen the muscles • increase range of movement • increase awareness of the body • increase lymphatic drainage • stimulate acupoints • feel invigorated. We will then learn, practice, correct and explore movements from the Tai Chi 10-Step form (routine). Our practice helps us to be mentally present and can be described as meditation and medication in motion. This is a drop in session, just turn up and enjoy. Cost per session is £5 or whatever you can pay. Payments are made to the community centre.
